Olympic stupidity
From the “We’re Anti-War, Not Anti-Military, Honest!” files:
The Olympia (WA) City Council retreats for now from its proposed resolution to bar the USS Olympia, a nuclear sub, from docking in its namesake port.
Instead, the liberal narcissists on the council have now resolved that they “should provide the captain and crew of the USS Olympia with a videotape of the [four-hour] May 25 public hearing and encourage them to view the videotape as a means of understanding the myriad of issues and diverse views raised by the potential visit of the USS Olympia to our community.”
We are at war and these loons want to subject our beleaguered sailors to a community sensitivity training course. God help us.
