Never forget: 7/25/69
That’s the date Ted Kennedy pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of the crime at Chappaquiddick. The New York Post’s Eric Fettman hits one out of the park today in pointing out that the Democrats will honor Kennedy at their party convention during the 35th anniversary of Kennedy’s guilty plea. Fettman’s work is just one of the many compelling reasons to bookmark the Post’s online op-ed section and check in every day.
UPDATE: Jeff G. at Protein Wisdom notes that July 26, the date of the DNC gala, just happens to be Mary Jo Kopeche’s BIRTHDAY. He also makes a splash with an exclusive look at his own very special invitation to the Kennedy celebration.
