What I find most interesting in the few (as few as possible) excerpts I’ve read in my local liberal newspaper is how bad he makes himself look when he is trying to make himself look good.

In the story on Waco, he apparently says that when Janet Reno came to him for approval to go in, he disagreed with her but finally said she could go ahead if she thought it was the right thing to do!

Mow there’s the decisiveness we like to see in our leaders!

This is just plain bizarre. The fact that Hillary summited Everest years before Bill’s wife was born is not new news. They’ve been called on it for (at least) several years.

What would possess him to include that in his book. He has to know that it’s not true. If you’re going to lie, at least lie about things that aren’t so easy to disprove…

The casualness of this type of lying is what is so disturbing, as if they themselves can’t distinguish the truth any more. The sad result is that calls into question everything that they say on any subject. Afterall, how is one to know what is [pun intended] and what isn’t?
