The Chicago Times reports: “Couple beaten at Sox game after objecting to cursing.” The couple, concerned about what their young children were hearing in the stands, had asked two foul-mouthed brothers to watch their language. The parents suffered broken noses and black eyes — with the father requiring six stitches.

Two quick things struck me in the article: the total uselessness of stadium security officers and the Jerry Springer-esque rationalizations of the mother of the two thugs who beat the couple.
