Eh, like everything else MoveOn does, this is principally about whipping up the troops for campaign contributions and activism, so I’m sure they were aware how silly this all was. Still, the fact that they would resort to ugly authroitarian regulatory activity, even frivously, is emblematic of their character and philosophy.
