The goober’s name has been mentioned in this blog 30+ times and certainly that is representative of other blogs, online news and search engines. This from a woman I honestly thought was long retired until last week. Her reasons for politcal diatribe are obvious. She manipulated the media into giving coverage time to someone that did not even still have the prestigious title of “Has Been”.

She infuriated me so by her comment: “This is an election year, and I think we’re in desperate trouble and it’s time for people to speak up and not pipe down. It’s a real conflict for me when I go to a concert and find out somebody in the audience is a Republican or fundamental Christian. It can cloud my enjoyment. I’d rather not know.”

Here was my own reaction, taken from my LJ (edited for expletives):

Yeah, I think so, too, which is why I’m going to keep speaking up about my Republican, Christian views. Why should everyone else pipe down while you say whatever you want? You think I want to watch a movie or go to a concert while I know your views? Dont’ you think it ruins my enjoyment? I can’t think of Strider as Strider anymore; He’s just the jerk that wants the world to be run by the UN. And then whiners like Sean Penn start complaining about low audience attendance like it’s a conspiracy against them or something. What do you expect? I dont’ have to watch your stupid movies or go to your dumb concerts. And I’m sure as hell not going to feel sorry for you and your “clouded enjoyment” when you obviously don’t give a two penny care about mine.

As one of those Tucson conservatives, I must say that she’s not getting the most out of the conservative setting unless her kids are being privately tutored. There’s just as much drugs and screaming liberals here as there are anywhere else, even moreso due to our high immigrant (aka illegal) population. They clutter the sidewalks holding signs during election time, so I parade around holding Michael Savage or Ann Coulter under my arm or fling rocks at them if I’m in a moving vehicle…

In the 70′s, during an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, Ms. Ronstadt stated that she could sing the best when she shot heroin into both arms right before going on stage. Obviously she still thinks it works. As for moving back to Tuscon, even if her brother isn’t still the Chief of Police, he has enough influence to keep the family junkie out of too much trouble.
