Teresa’s victim speaks!

By Michelle Malkin  •  August 2, 2004 09:32 PM

Colin McNickle, the man to whom Teresa Heinz Kerry hissed “Shove it,” writes about the death threats he has received. Also, he is still waiting for the o-pin-KNEE-o-nay-ted Teresa to answer his original question.

Maybe he’d have better luck if he asked her in Portuguese, French, Italian, or Spanish.

I have a friend that gets French TV at home. Kerry speaks to reporters in French all the time. I think it would make a great campaign commercial to lift footage from his conversations with the French.

Maybe he would have. Or, he would he have been chastised by the “right” [sic] for doing so?

[President Bush's exchange with NBC News correspondent David Gregory over anti-American protests in Europe attracted widespread attention. Bush ridiculed the reporter, who asked Bush a question about the protests and then tried to ask French President Chirac a question in French. "The guy memorizes four words, and he plays like he's intercontinental," said Bush. "Sir, if I could just follow," the reporter began. "Thank you," Bush shot back, as he answered the questions and then silenced Gregory. As Bush stepped away from the podium, he called to Gregory. "As soon as you get in front of a camera, you start showing off." ]

Wow, you have been really busy this morning. Welcome to MichelleMalkin.com!

But I must say, you have to do better than that if you’re gonna win anyone over.

Theresa Heinz deserves to be made fun of for the pronunciation of her name because she is the one (along with her gigilo husband) who insist on that goofy Te-RAY-zah pronunciation!!

David Gregory is a show off who thinks of Bush as some simpleton from Texas, who probably thinks to himself, “how dare he challenge me! A White House correspondent for NBC!”

    What a bitch!!!!

    /sarcasm

Thanks for your warm welcome. I ahve been posting here for a couple fo weeks. I like reading blogs and Michelle, while rabidly and blindly partisan, provides some pretty good links with her stuff.

that “goofy” pronunciation? that’s how her name is pronounced. this may come as a shock, but elsewhere in the world they pronounce words differently, and it’s generally considered respectful to pronounce others’ names correctly. if john ashcroft went to spain, for example, you wouldn’t hear the spanish complaining about the “goofy” pronunciation of “juan’s” name. teresa was not born “ter-REE-sah.” she can hardly be qualified as a “bitch” for asking that her name be pronounced correctly.

you’re calling her a bitch, you’re saying she needs to get plastic surgery to improve her looks, and SHE is the one who’s classless and mean-spirited? she is 65 years old, and she looks great. even if she didn’t look great, since when is that a requirement of the first lady position? i don’t hear anyone critiquing the less-than-attractive men in politics (and there are a lot of them) for their poor physical appearance; only the women are subject to such scrutiny. you’re disgusting.

How about we protest Senora Heinz by not having catsup on our food for the duration of the campaign. When you are at the restaurant, and the server asks if you need catsup, tell them to “shove it”. At Mcdonalds, “Do you need catsup for those french fries sir?”, “Shove it”. Wait a minute… Should we even be eating french fries?

I agree with you 100% GsOuPx! There is no need to punish a hard working, good old American company that since 1869 has been providing an excellent product. Besides, the only attachment Te-RAY-zah has to it is by a marriage, to a Republican senator. Oh, and the $1 billion he left her. The company has even gone out of it’s way to show the public that John Kerry’s wife has nothing to do with the company.

Teresa is quickly becoming Kerry the poodle’s biggest liability. Now watch them try to turn Teresa into Hillary Clinton.

Teresa is a political novice, and apprently didn’t know that when you stand up in front of a crowd these days and you give a speech for your husband who is running for president, somebody is going to have a video camera.

She just did not want to explain herself to this man. She threw the word ‘unAmerican’ out there carelessly as a rhetorical tactic and when he asked her what she meant she got hostile because she knows if she tries to rationally explain it she’s going to look foolish.

No matter how the far left spins it,she got caught on camera speaking carelessly and then denying she said what she did in fact say.

i have a hard time picturing Laura Bush doing something that classless.

One question, how does one go from being a mover and shaker in conservative circles, and being a staunch conservative and Republican to the complete opposite overnight? Doesn’t any of these defenders of Heinz-Kerry question that? Hrm… Married to John Heinz and the entire time loves and praises the conservative party, marries John Kerry shortly after her husband’s death and suddenly does a 180…. Doesn’t make alot of sense to me, unless it’s just about the power. But then maybe I’m wrong for not being able to support someone that would so quickly and easily sell out their convictions and beliefs.

    Jill,

I disagree with your statement that only women in politics are criticized for their looks. Ted Kennedy, for example, looks like a bloated, rotting corpse in many of his pictures. Sort of like he’s been floating face-down in a river for the past 30 years or so.

Bill Clinton is constantly made fun of because of his weight. George W. Bush is constantly made fun of because he looks like a monkey. John Kerry’s legendary horse face earns him countless jokes.

It’s not just the women. Politics is a cruel sport regardless of gender.

To respond to a much earlier post, no one criticized Ms. Heinz on first amendment grounds. People criticized her for:

    (1) lecturing people about the need for civility and then, hypocritically, responding to a perfectly reasonable question by telling the reporter to “shove it,” and

    (2) denying that she used the term “un-American” when she clearly did. Now, the only defense of Ms. Heinz that I can think of is that, if I’m not mistaken, she referred to “un-American tirades” while the reporter asked her what she meant by “un-American activities.” If that’s her defense (that she said “tirades” not “activities”), then I think the “civil” thing for her to do would have been to make that distinction clear to the reporter rather than simply tell him to “shove it.”

Lost in the sauce indeed has been the original question: what DID T-Rez mean by “unamerican”?? Why aren’t reporters doing their JOBS & ASKING HER?

She seems so continually drunk or hopped up on pills or who knows what, I wonder whether anybody in the GroupSnoot Kerry campaign has even dared try to tell her High-as-a-Kiteness that she did, in fact, say “unamerican.”

Certainly her public behavior has been so embarassing & weird that T-Rez, a politically high-spending billionairess actively seeking & asking for First Ladyship & White House occupancy, owes it as a categorical moral imperative to disclose her complete medical records to the American public.
