She seems so continually drunk or hopped up on pills or who knows what, I wonder whether anybody in the GroupSnoot Kerry campaign has even dared try to tell her High-as-a-Kiteness that she did, in fact, say “unamerican.”

Certainly her public behavior has been so embarassing & weird that T-Rez, a politically high-spending billionairess actively seeking & asking for First Ladyship & White House occupancy, owes it as a categorical moral imperative to disclose her complete medical records to the American public.

(1) lecturing people about the need for civility and then, hypocritically, responding to a perfectly reasonable question by telling the reporter to “shove it,” and

(2) denying that she used the term “un-American” when she clearly did. Now, the only defense of Ms. Heinz that I can think of is that, if I’m not mistaken, she referred to “un-American tirades” while the reporter asked her what she meant by “un-American activities.” If that’s her defense (that she said “tirades” not “activities”), then I think the “civil” thing for her to do would have been to make that distinction clear to the reporter rather than simply tell him to “shove it.”

I disagree with your statement that only women in politics are criticized for their looks. Ted Kennedy, for example, looks like a bloated, rotting corpse in many of his pictures. Sort of like he’s been floating face-down in a river for the past 30 years or so.

Bill Clinton is constantly made fun of because of his weight. George W. Bush is constantly made fun of because he looks like a monkey. John Kerry’s legendary horse face earns him countless jokes.

It’s not just the women. Politics is a cruel sport regardless of gender.

Teresa is a political novice, and apprently didn’t know that when you stand up in front of a crowd these days and you give a speech for your husband who is running for president, somebody is going to have a video camera.

She just did not want to explain herself to this man. She threw the word ‘unAmerican’ out there carelessly as a rhetorical tactic and when he asked her what she meant she got hostile because she knows if she tries to rationally explain it she’s going to look foolish.

No matter how the far left spins it,she got caught on camera speaking carelessly and then denying she said what she did in fact say.

i have a hard time picturing Laura Bush doing something that classless.

I agree with you 100% GsOuPx! There is no need to punish a hard working, good old American company that since 1869 has been providing an excellent product. Besides, the only attachment Te-RAY-zah has to it is by a marriage, to a Republican senator. Oh, and the $1 billion he left her. The company has even gone out of it’s way to show the public that John Kerry’s wife has nothing to do with the company.

Putting aside the moronic aspect of this suggestion, Heinz manufactures “ketchup” not catsup.

that “goofy” pronunciation? that’s how her name is pronounced. this may come as a shock, but elsewhere in the world they pronounce words differently, and it’s generally considered respectful to pronounce others’ names correctly. if john ashcroft went to spain, for example, you wouldn’t hear the spanish complaining about the “goofy” pronunciation of “juan’s” name. teresa was not born “ter-REE-sah.” she can hardly be qualified as a “bitch” for asking that her name be pronounced correctly.

you’re calling her a bitch, you’re saying she needs to get plastic surgery to improve her looks, and SHE is the one who’s classless and mean-spirited? she is 65 years old, and she looks great. even if she didn’t look great, since when is that a requirement of the first lady position? i don’t hear anyone critiquing the less-than-attractive men in politics (and there are a lot of them) for their poor physical appearance; only the women are subject to such scrutiny. you’re disgusting.
