DR. MOM
Hey, kids. Been up all night (nothing unusual there) at the hospital with my 4-year-old daughter, who hasn’t been able to hold anything down for the past 24 hours (water, Coke, jello, Cheezits, pedialyte popsicles…all of which ended up on the family room couch). Seems there’s a nasty stomach bug going around. After some IV fluids and a twilight viewing of The Last Unicorn (soundtrack by America, remember them?), she has greatly improved. All’s well…except for The Last Unicorn theme song that won’t leave my head.
Will be responding soon to the interesting discussion of my book by Eric Muller at The Volokh Conspiracy and in other various corners of the blogosphere, so stay tuned. Meantime, regular blogging will resume shortly after I change out of my scrubs…
