YOU CAN’T FOOL A SPORTSMAN
In a last-ditch bid for battleground votes, John Kerry got a hunting makeover.
Here’s the AP photo of his goose hunting trip in Ohio hot off the presses:

He wisely ditched the bright orange vest…

…and the one-eyed stance…

But gun owners and outdoorsmen in Ohio still aren’t buying it.
“I like my guns, and I think Kerry has been back-stabbing us,” Shirley Williams of Hubbard, a 71-year-old gun collector and member of the Vienna Fish and Game Club, told the Youngstown Vindicator. “He hasn’t helped us for 20 years” in the U.S. Senate.
Mike Budzik, the state chairman of Bush’s sportsmen organization and a former Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Wildlife, agreed: “You can’t fool a sportsman.”
(Or a runner. Or a regular guy.)
Update: Craig at Lead and Gold notes Kerry’s European hunting habits.
