Leftists greeted the news that two men attacked her during a University of Arizona college speaking event with glee, ridicule, and misogynist gloating.

Now, can you imagine if two thugs who looked like this
attacked Molly Ivins or Maureen Dowd? Every thumb-sucker on the Left would be wailing about the Culture of Hate and the Degeneration of Civility and The Death of Free Speech and Violence against Women.

Instead, we get Vanity Fair contributing editor James Wolcott exulting with vulgarity:
