KIND WORDS FROM A BRIT

Just wanted to share a nice e-mail from abroad:

Highly unfortunately I am English, but find myself living in Germany. However, I was fortunate enough to be invited to a “Politics & Party” election do in the Amerika Haus in Frankfurt co-hosted by CNN and Dresdner Bank. Unfortunately, it was less than salubrious, and basically a thinly veiled Kerry rally.

Accordingly, I voted with the only means available to me: my feet and headed home to read your blog. Before I succumb to tiredness (it is almost 3am already) I thought I would send this short message of support. Whatever the BBC or Guardian may say, a large portion of the UK is soundly behind Bush and are (silently) cheering on our man!

I hope that I will wake to good news in the morning…

Three cheers for Euro-non-weenies!
