The brutal murders of the Armanious family, whose members were devout and outspoken Coptic Christians from Egypt, are getting scant MSM attention. The stories that do get published have a P.C., “can’t we all just get along?” bias:

“Killing of family shatters religious harmony,” reads one headline. What about the family that was shattered?

“Jersey City slayings spur new wave of anti-Muslim bias,” reads another headline. Yet, the anti-Christian bias that may reportedly be at the center of the slayings has been downplayed in favor of other motives and, some argue, whitewashed.

JihadWatch has become must-reading for exclusive developments in the case. Yesterday, the site reported that Islamists are bragging about the beheadings of the Armanious family (a new detail to me) on a Muslim electronic bulletin board:

The good planting has started to yield thank Allah and soon, Allah willing, an intense Islamic revolution all across America that holds the right and bring down the falsehood that they’ve created.

Funny. I haven’t seen any New York Times articles yet fretting about the threat such murderous rhetoric poses to religious harmony. Have you?
