REPORTING ON AMERICAN HOSTAGE ROY HALLUMS
If you are wondering about the video of American hostage Roy Hallums that was released today by Isalmists, the place to go is War on Terror blogger Rusty Shackleford’s place. He broke the news of Hallums’ capture last November, has been in contact with Hallums’ family, and has details not available elsewhere in the MSM. On the tape, Hallums makes this statement:
“I am please asking for help because my life is in danger because it’s been proved I worked for American forces,” the bearded Hallums said. “I’m not asking for any help from President Bush because I know of his selfishness and unconcern for those who’ve been pushed into this hellhole.”
Shackleford writes: “This does not sound like the Roy Hallums as described to me by his family and friends. I’m sure the rifle pointed at his head had something to do with his pleas.”
Hallums’ family has a tribute page to Roy here.
