ANOTHER NUTTY PROFESSOR
It looks like the University of Pennsylvania has its own Ward Churchillian headache–a tinfoil hat-wearer in the Psychology Department named Francisco Gil-White. Among other things, he claims that 9/11 was an “inside job” and has accused a fellow professor of being a secret agent for the CIA.
Administration and student reviews have raised concerns about his academic qualifications and fitness to teach. The university cancelled one of his classes. Now, Gil-White is blasting the school for threatening his “academic freedom” and raving about a “threat” he received from a fellow faculty member.
So, is the guy a maniac or a martyr? Take a look at his website and this publication he serves as “deputy editor” of and judge for yourselves.
Unconsidered Trifles, which tipped me off to the story, has much more.
