THE GARBAGE MAN MOVES ON TO LONDON
Democrat political operative Zack Exley, known as “the garbage man” for publishing fake photos of President Bush with cocaine residue under his nose, has been hired as a campaign consultant by Britain’s Labour Party. A Labour spokeswoman told The Independent that Exley was hired specifically because of his experience working for MoveOn. For those who have been living in a cave for the past year, that’s the left-wing activist group that compared President Bush to Hitler posted ads comparing President Bush to Hitler on a web site.
Exley worked for the Kerry campaign and has ties to The Ruckus Society, a radical organization that, as Lowell Ponte reports, has “links to members of domestic terrorist groups like Earth Liberation Front and Earth First!”
But if Exley is as successful in British politics as he was in the U.S., the Conservative Party should welcome his arrival with open arms.

Correction, March 2: MoveOn posted the Bush-Hitler ads on a web site called bushin30seconds.org. The two ads in question were among 1,500 submitted by MoveOn’s readers. They were not MoveOn’s ads, and their appearance on the web site did not constitute sponsorship by MoveOn.
I was wrong to say that the group compared Bush to Hitler.
