TOO IMPORTANT FOR PRISON, UPDATE
A few days ago, I wrote about the lenient sentence handed down by Judge Rayford Means in the case of a brilliant brain researcher, Tracy McIntosh, who was convicted of drugging then sexually assaulting a 25-year-old woman. Judge Means said he decided not to sentence McIntosh to prison in part because of McIntosh’s “important work with stroke victims and brain injuries.”
