A HUTCHINSON WHO GETS IT

A bill that would give the Arkansas State Police authority to arrest illegal immigrants was recommended for passage last week by a Senate panel, the Arkansas Times-Record reports.

This is a sensible bill that will improve homeland security.

The legislation is sponsored by Jeremy Hutchinson, the nephew of Asa Hutchinson.

Asa Hutchinson, you may recall, is the bloviating Homeland Security official who embarrassed himself last summer when attempting to defend DHS’s failure to enforce immigration laws.
