Jeff Quinton at Backcountry Conservative is liveblogging media coverage of the Atlanta courthouse shootout and has tons o’ links.

Michael King, Georgia-based blogger, is also keeping an eye on Atlanta while the search for the fugitive gunman continues.

Atlanta traffic billboards are alerting commuters. Here’s what they’re flashing.

Atlanta Journal-Constitution coverage is here, including a report on the AJC reporter who was pistol-whipped by the suspect and on-scene video, but you have to register. You can, however, read this account of a tow truck driver who encountered the gunman.

The tragedy starkly highlights the risks that all judges and court officers, not just federal justices, face while upholding the rule of law.

Update: James Joyner of OTB will appear on MSNBC to discuss the case.

Update II: Jeff Quinton says the alleged shooter worked at UPS in Atlanta as a database administrator before his arrest last fall. Adam Harris has more details.
