[JOKE] H-BOMB PLANS POSTED ON WEB SITE

Note updates below.

Internet Haganah, drawing on this Arab News article, reports that a member of a terrorist group has posted to the Internet a do-it-yourself plan to make a homemade hydrogen bomb. Internet Haganah found some interesting details about who may be responsible:

we note that he posts using roman, not arabic, letters in a weird mix of Arabic and English. Elsewhere he explains that this is because he is a Palestinian in the USA, using a computer in a public library.

Rusty Shackleford notes, “I suppose that the ACLU will cry bloody-murder should the FBI check the activity logs of whichever library this turns out to have come from.”

Shackleford also says, “I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that the poster left his e-mail address–let_us_reason2005@yahoo.com.”

Update: Zachary Heaton takes a closer look at the instructions and finds them laughable. Hope he’s right!

Update II: Yep, Heaton is right. Here’s the original version, which has been floating around for some time. Commenter abb3W at The Jawa Report adds:

So, some terrorists could have nuclear ambitions. Before my morning coffee, so could I– and I’d have a better chance of realizing those ambitions before the pot finishes brewing than this fruitcake ever would using plans like this.
