ANOTHER COURTROOM SECURITY LAPSE

The MSM has moved on from the Brian Nichols story, but courthouse insecurity remains a problem. Diggers’ Realm has the story of an alleged MS-13 member who slashed his female public attorney with a smuggled razor during his murder trial yesterday.

According to the L.A. Daily News, criminal defendants at the L.A. courthouse–even those classified as dangerous, as this one was–are not required to go through metal detectors (though everyone else must pass through them) and are not subjected to strip searches.

Insane.
