BOLTONBLOGGING

By Michelle Malkin  •  April 11, 2005 05:13 PM

A quick round-up…

Jim Geraghty at TKS has global reaction to U.N. ambassor nominee John Bolton (North Korea calls him “human scum”). Eric Pfeiffer at Beltway Buzz has more. National Review’s endorsement is here.

John Hinderaker at the freshly redesigned Power Line reacts to Code Pink protesters who disrupted Bolton’s nomination hearing: “Whose side are they on?”

Betsy Newmark notices Sen. Joe Biden’s telling Freudian slip.

Will Franklin reports: Democrats going nuts over Bolton

And for fair and balanced coverage: On the left side of the blogosphere, David Corn gets $60 from www.johnkerry.com for a blog ad urging RINO Sen. Lincoln Chafee to vote against Bolton. Seems the ad is running on a number of blogs and websites to put pressure on Chafee. Corn also takes his fellow left-wing bloggers to task for not paying more attention to the nomination:

Bolton’s a bad deal for the United States. I wish progressive bloggers were as fixated upon him as many of them have been on Jeff Gannon/James Guckert.

Update: Bunch of readers asking about whether John Kerry outed a federal agent. (Also noted at Beltway Buzz.) Reader Lois e-mails:

John Kerry outed the undercover officer previously referred to by the name “Mr. Smith” during his second round of questioning today. He was reading from a statement which had Mr. Smith’s real name “Fulton Armstrong” and inadvertently disclosed it.

Arms Control Wonk has more.

Charles Bird at Red State posted a good preview of the nomination battle last week here.

Bill Kristol writes: “Bolton’s the one”
