Lawyers for Ahmed Ressam, the jailed al Qaeda operative who plotted to blow up Los Angeles International Airport a few years ago, say Ressam has provided detailed information about al Qaeda’s members and methods. They want a judge to reward Ressam for his help by reducing his sentence, but federal prosecutors say Ressam is no longer cooperating with them.
