CONFIRMED: HASAN AKBAR STABBED AN MP
Last week, this site broke the news that Sergeant Hasan Akbar stabbed an MP with a pair of scissors. Now, Associated Press has confirmed the story:
Akbar took a sharp item from an office where he was meeting with lawyers and attacked the M-P who was assigned to escort him to the men’s room.
The judge in Akbar’s court-martial trial is refusing to admit evidence about the attack, which he downplayed as “an opportunistic stabbing,” in the sentencing phase now under way.
