SQUASHING THE “THERE’S A WAR ON” MEME

I was going to comment on this curious post at Instapundit, which seems to take an uncharacteristically rude slap at Kathryn Lopez of NRO for simply noting House passage of the Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act (apparently such measures are reckless and unnecessary diversions because there’s a “war on”), but Ace of Spades already nailed it.

So did the Galley Slaves. And Ramesh Ponnuru.

The Washington Post has a piece on the bill here. Would elaborate further, but there’s a…well, you know.
