HILLARY’S HUBRIS

By Michelle Malkin  •  May 2, 2005 11:15 AM

Hillary Clinton reverted back from her “moderate” self last week in her attack on the Bush Administration over North Korea’s nuclear capabilities:

“Put simply, they couldn’t do that when George Bush became president, and now they can.”

Andy Card hollered back at HRC on Meet The Press:

Russert: “Could it be said that President Bush was so focused on Iraq that another far greater threat emerged – and that six nuclear bombs were developed by North Korea on his watch?”

Card: “Or on President Clinton’s watch. Some of those weapons may well have been produced as they were violating the agreement they had with President Clinton. That’s what a North Korean delegation said to an American diplomat. And they said it with great pride.”

I like Spoons’ retort better:

Coming from the wife of the man who built North Korean nuclear reactors and a national party that has insisted upon capitulation to North Korea at every turn, and hamstrung George Bush’s use of force, Ms. Clinton’s comments are nothing short of scandalous.
