BRITBLOGGING!
Sorry, that’s Brit as in British elections, not Spears.
John O’Sullivan’s qualified predictions are at NRO: “[A]lmost everyone assumes that Labor will win. Only the size of its majority is thought to be in doubt.”
Mark Steyn will place his bets on today’s Hugh Hewitt radio program.
Political Britblogging is blossoming, says CNet. Here’s one resource page, which includes the gag site (or not?) “Not Apathetic“–a place for non-voting British residents to explain why they’re not voting.
Tim Worstall cheekily advises his readers how to vote. TKS has an eye on the polls. UPI’s Martin Walker says Tony Blair’s finance minister, Gordon Brown, is a winner no matter who prevails at the ballot box.
David Orland at TIB has been covering the role of immigration in the elections (see here and here). And the NYTimes profiles a former Howard Dean campaign staffer working for the Labour Party.
The CBC says the race could be close.
We shall see…
