READING FOR POLITICAL JUNKIES
The Pew Research Center alerted me yesterday to its new report on political “typology”–the fourth attempt of its kind to categorize Americans “on the basis of a broad range of value orientations rather than simply on the basis of party identification or self-reported ideology.”
It’s for hardcore political junkies only. Thankfully, the indispensable Gerry Daly has given it a read and has interesting analysis at Daly Thoughts.
Pew also has a little typology quiz for the quiz-happy: Where do you fit?
You won’t be shocked by which category I fit under…
Update: Reader Roger B. notes that “question 20, on immigration, is bogus…it doesn’t distinguish between legal/illegal.” Yep, I noticed that, too. Rule of thumb: When they make no distinction, assume they mean illegal.
