WHAT LIBERAL MEDIA? OPERATION TENNESSEE WALTZ EDITION

By Michelle Malkin  •  May 29, 2005 08:19 AM

AP neglects to mention the party affiliation of Tennessee state senator John Ford, who resigned after being placed under house arrest in an FBI corruption sting. Hint: he ain’t a Republican. (This earlier AP story I linked to posted at the NY Times has now rectified the omission.)

Update: Ranting Right Wing Howler does a compare and contrast.

Meanwhile, the stench in Tennessee grows. Here’s Ford’s resignation letter. Here’s a story quoting a Democrat state senator comparing the day of the sting-related arrests to the day of JFK’s assassination and to 9/11. Andrea Hopkins at the Bristol Herald Courier recounts Tennessee government’s history of ethical “disappointments.”
