THE WACHOVIA SHAKEDOWN
Yep, it’s true: Wachovia banking execs are apologizing to black Americans because two of the company’s predecessor banks owned slaves before the Civil War. Next comes the money.
Jeff Goldstein at one of my blog faves, Protein Wisdom, has an excellent response to the Wachovia shakedown and the grievance industry, which thrives amid false social constructs of race and identity politics.
My take from a few years ago on the same subject: Get out your reparations calculators.
