WOUNDED MILBLOGGER UPDATE

By Michelle Malkin  •  June 24, 2005 07:05 AM

CPT Charles “Chuck” Ziegenfuss, the milblogger wounded by an IED in Iraq, is scheduled to arrive at Walter Reed this evening. Cpt. Ziegenfuss’s wife reports:

There is one man (other than God Himself) in particular who saved Chuck’s life. CPT Jason Spencer, Chuck’s XO. Chuck said to me, “Jason saved my life. Don’t ever let me forget that.” I don’t know Jason on a very personal level, but he dove into the canal when Chuck was blown in from the explosion….

FYI: Here is Cpt. Ziegenfuss’s Amazon.com Wish List.

Update: As of 12:37 pm eastern time, everything on the Wish List has been purchased for Cpt. Ziegenfuss except one item that is unavailable. Many thanks.
