Post title just funnin’ y’all. Seriously, I do not have a big problem with Robert Novak, most of the time. However, sometimes he is just a little bit too much to take.

But why would Bush play that game? Because he’s stubborn and doesn’t like conservatives dissing Gonzales? I would sincerely hope our President’s reasons for selecting a nominee are greater than the playground reasoning of “I’ll show you.”

Rehnquist to Retire?

How about Scalia for CJ and McConnell or Luttig or associate justice? The Republicans could remind the Democrats that they approved Scalia unanimously to the court in 1986. The man hasn’t changed, so there should be no opposition. Right?
