We know you like Michael Yon’s Dispatches from Iraq and his photos, especially of the children. Are you aware that his camera is, and has been, in a bad state of repair? He totally supports himself and his brave endeavors in Iraq. The man needs a new camera, Michelle. As faithful readers of his work, we are trying to get people interested in getting him a new camera.
It was Michael who brought us one of the most moving images I’ve ever seen from the war–the photo of Maj. Mark Bieger cradling a little girl killed in a car bombing in Mosul:
