THE SON, THE SMIRK, THE SICKOS

So, last night during the SCOTUS press conference, you may have noticed the facial expressions of President Bush and John Roberts’ wife. Glenn Reynolds did.
So did the readers at Daily Kos.

Why the faces? Because John Roberts’ adorable little son decided to break dance during the momentous event. Dirty Harry has the hilarious photos. Here’s one:

(*Update* Must-see video here.)

Everyone with restless rugrats can totally identify. I could see my son doing the very same thing, except his outfit would have been smeared with Gogurt and he probably would have stripped those shortpants off.

Unbelievably, the first thought of some Bush-bashers when they noticed Mrs. Roberts’ stern face, was to wonder if Justice Roberts’ son was gay and muse about doing oppo research on him. What is it with those people?

Update: Check out a few of the equally insipid comments at The Huffington Post. (Hat tip: Lynda B.)
