SASSYGATE: DILPAZIER ASLAM FIRED

So, the Guardian of London has fired Dilpazier Aslam–the “sassy” terrorist apologist spotlighted here and across the blogosphere. The paper provides background here.

Eursoc is comparing the episode to the CBS/Dan Rather fake memo fiasco and has an excellent recap. Mark Moore takes on the Guardian’s dissembling.

The Daily Ablution led the way in digging into Aslam’s membership in a terror-sympathizing political group.

Martin Stabe wonders if the Los Angeles Times, which reprinted Aslam’s noxious op-ed (with a bit of whitewash), will inform readers of his firing:

I wonder if they’ll take note of his fate. I’m sure the bloggers will insist that they do.
