PETER JENNINGS: BUZZ

TV industry blogs are buzzing about a report that ABC affiliates are preparing for the death of anchorman Peter Jennings, who was diagnosed with lung cancer in April. See TV Newser and TVSpy for details. Jennings turned 67 last week.

Michael King is also hearing rumors.

Anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one from lung cancer knows the last stages are enormously difficult and painful. There will be a time to analyze Jennings’ impact on the legacy MSM. For now, continued sympathy and prayers go to him and his family.
