We’ve had to turn the trackbacks feature off while Michelle is away. There was some nasty porno spam in the trackbacks and some other problems. I believe that Michelle’s kind assistants are working on the problem and hope to turn it back on when she returns. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. –Betsy

UPDATE: I’ve gotten several notes from people who sound skeptical about my characterization of “porno spam” in the trackbacks. Let me assure you that this was true porn – links to sites selling sex toys and pictures naked people doing all sorts of athletic things. Once Michelle returns, she and her tech helpers can figure out how to deal with the spam.

UPDATE II: A reader just reminded me of how Potter Stewart might have helped us figure out exactly what fits the definition of porno spam: “I know it when I see it.” And believe me, I knew it when I saw it.
