THE BUSH DERANGEMENT PARADE

By Michelle Malkin  •  November 2, 2005 10:07 AM

Yes, today is the day. Anti-war extremists across the country are gearing up to ditch school and work (not sure how that’s different from their regular routines, but I digress). They’ll be be busy chanting and littering and cavorting in the streets because the World Can’t Wait for the do-nothing mob to “peacefully drive out the Bush regime.” The unhinged masses in New York City will gather at Times Square this afternoon for the event. They’re not just mad at Bush/Rove/Halliburton, by the way. They’re also mad at a local radio station for refusing to air one of their crackpots ads. Via the NY Daily News:

An organization planning a national series of anti-President Bush protests today has blasted Emmis Radio for advising WQHT (97.1 FM) not to run a paid ad for the cause and the events.

Emmis, parent of WQHT, says the spot was rejected because “ads of an ‘issue’ nature can be highly controversial and the claims are often difficult to verify.”

The one-minute spot was cut by musician Boots Riley for a coalition of progressive groups and individuals called The World Can’t Wait, Drive Out the Bush Regime.

Promoting a noon rally in Union Square today, it says, “Bush made torture into a sport and justifies it. … We all watched Bush leave people to die in New Orleans. … This regime is what’s criminal.”

The organizers should be grateful the ad isn’t running. Who’s Boots Riley? Here’s a flashback:

boots.jpg

That’s him on the right. He’s the militant left-wing anti-capitalist and son of a Black Panther leader partying in front of a doctored image of the World Trade Center being blown up for the cover of one of his hate-filled rap albums in 2001.

More of Boots Riley’s fine work:

5 millions ways to kill a CEO
Slap him up and shake him up
and then you know
Let him off the floor
Then bait him with the dough
You can do it funk or do it disco…

Toss a dollar in the river and when he jump in
If you find he can swim, put lead boots on him and do it again
You and a friend videotape and the party don’t end

And:

You ain’t never learned to drive or tie your shoe
I got my ear to the street and my eye on you
You got a secretary to write down your thoughts
On how to make us work hard and fatten up your vaults…

You’re a lazy muthafucka! Lazy muthafucka!
You’re a lazy muthafuck! Lazy muthafucka!”

And:

If you got beef with c-o-p’s
Throw a Molotov at the p-i-g’s
Cuz they be harassing you and me
You got to understand that we still not free..

All they are saying is give peace a chance, right?

Bull.
