MISCELLANEOUS STUFF OUT THERE TODAY

By Betsy Newmark  •  November 17, 2005 07:04 AM

John McCain gets one exactly right.

The Wall Street Journal thinks that Joanne Jacobs’ new book should be a Hollywood movie.

Tom Maguire wonders if Patrick Fitzgerald will now admit that he was wrong about indicting Scooter Libby. I doubt that Fitzgerald will, but this Woodward story sure has given Libby’s defense team some new material to cover. It also means that a whole host of other journalists will be called to testify in any trial. I wonder how many will volunteer for some “Judy time” in order to protect their sources.

Mr. Right has a satirical idea of how the Democrats might respond to the video clips that the RNC has posted with all the quotes from Democratic politicians on Saddam Hussein.

On a lighter note, why do people hate Duke basketball?

Scrappleface thinks Bob Woodward should win the Mr. Run Amok Award 2005.
