THANKS, HERE’S SOMETHING TO LEAVE YOU WITH
Much thanks to Michelle for letting me guest blog here this week and to her wonderful readers for their kind emails. If you enjoyed my posts here this week, please visit Polipundit, where I blog daily along with four guys that always have something interesting to say.
I suppose it is pretty evident from the items I posted here this week that Iraq, the War on Terror, and media bias are of particular interest to me. I had a fourth grade field trip to chaperone this morning and a kindergarten Thanksgiving program to attend this afternoon, so I have not written on those (or any other) subjects today, but I would like to leave you all with some links to some excellent blog posts covering some topics that I will be writing about over the next week or so:
The Anchoress on one more WMD story that should be getting much more attention from the MSM than it is. Heck, it should be getting some attention, period. [Update] The Anchoress also has a great post on those wanting to cut and run in Iraq, with links to others on the same wavelength.
Jeff Harrell asks an excellent question of those who oppose the war in Iraq.
Scott Elliott points out that when it comes to Bush’s popularity, it’s all relative.
Eric at Viking Pundit points out that at least some of the Democrats complaining that they didn’t have sufficient intelligence (heh) prior to the war in Iraq, just didn’t take the time to attend the briefings.
In this post from October 2004, I linked to a post from several months earlier and bemoaned the fact that what I believed to be a strong argument for the decision to invade Iraq was not only absent from discussion in the mainstream media, but that the Bush administration never mentioned it either. In the next few days I will revisit this subject as part of a series of posts I am doing on the various reasons the invasion of Iraq was a necessary battle in the war on terror.
That excellent GOP web video is now a 60 second ad. I wish they had time to keep the Maddie Albright clip in (maybe they are saving it for the next one). More comments here.
