At least 6 people were killed and dozens wounded in the attack which came as Israeli lawmakers were gathering for the start of the 17th Knesset (parliament) in Jerusalem.

Hamas thugs play the victim card.

Ha’aretz reports:

The bomb, laced with nails and other projectiles, shattered car windshields, smashed windows of nearby buildings and blew away the restaurant’s sign. Glass shards and blood splattered the ground. Police said the guard was killed by the blast.

Another witness, Israel Yaakov, said the blast killed a woman standing near her husband and children, who were lightly wounded.

“The father was traumatized, he went into shock. He ran to the children to gather them up and the children were screaming, ‘Mom! Mom!’ and she wasn’t answering, she was dead already… it’s a shocking scene.”

Meryl Yourish:

Once more, for those who claim that the palestinian murderers use suicide bombing attacks because they don’t have tanks or other military weapons, I should like to point out that Tel Aviv has never been a part of the occupied territories.

..Hamas says it was self-defense.

Sure. Self-defense. In Tel Aviv. At a bus station. At a falafel shop. Those are dangerous people, falafel-eaters.

Neo-neocon spotlights the heroism of the restaurant security guard.

Reacting to Hamas approval of the terrorist attack in Tel Aviv, Robert Spencer quips:

“Good thing Hamas is moderate now. Imagine what it would be saying if it weren’t.”
