MOHAMMED IN SUBMISSION
I mentioned Mohammed depicted in classical artwork earlier this week when the latest cartoon jihad erupted in Italy. Matthias Storme at The Brussels Journal posts photos of another depiction of Mohammed, a 17th century sculpture housed at a Belgian church, that is sure to set off the jihadists:

The person subdued by the angels and having a Koran in his hands is generally thought to be Mohammed. The sculpture represents the triumph of christianity over islam.
Uh-oh. That church may need to step up security. As I noted before, al Qaeda plotted to blow up a Bologna church, the Church of San Petronio, over a Giovanni de Modena fresco inspired by Dante’s Inferno. Here is the fresco of Mohammed being tortured in hell, via Zombie, who has many more photos:
