Hot Air Special Correspondent X has sent us new photos of the Kos Konvention. Apparently, the Left has a new emblem. He writes:

“SWEET SASSY MOLASSEY! What in the name of Sauron’s eye is this? It’s like Tim Burton’s Night Before Independence Day…”

Egad.

Sen. Barbara Boxer, a Daily Kos poster and devotee, is scheduled speak to the Sauron worshipers today. She told the SF Chronicle:

This week, Boxer told The Chronicle that in her speech here Friday, she “hopes to inspire everyone to keep doing what they’re doing. They serve an important function, especially in these times of media consolidation.”

Plus, Boxer said, she loves the “tongue-in-cheek” and “unfiltered” take that blogs offer on the often-stuffy world of Washington politics. “I laugh, because they say a lot of things that I wish I could, but I can’t, because I’m a senator, and there’s a certain amount of decorum you have to maintain,” she said.
