Wanted: Bloggers to remember 9/11 victims
***see update***
Katie Favazza sends word of a massive blogger initiative to memorialize those murdered on 9/11.
DC Roe explains:
On September 11, 2006, 2,996 volunteer bloggers will join together for a tribute to the victims of 9/11. Each person will pay tribute to a single victim.
I just registered and will be paying tribute to Giovanna Porras, age 24, killed at the WTC. 680 more bloggers are needed.

Update: Tom, the tech guy for the blogger memorial project, e-mails that the site has now been swamped and you may get a slow response time. Be patient or try again if you can’t register right away. Thank you!
