The “air” may be leaking from Air America…Rumors of bankruptcy abound. Michelle Malkin is all over this story…Despite all the hype when Air America launched, the folks continue to prefer conservative talk radio hosts ala Rush Limbaugh.

As noted by Radio Equalizer and Michelle Malkin, Air America is filing for bankruptcy. I’m surprised it took this long, considering their market share (or lack thereof). Mostly, tho, it’s like I’ve stated before, their product was lousy. -Colonel Steve

I can’t say that I’m surprised, given how poorly the network did in the ratings, and how it couldn’t even manage an audience in New York City. The NYC flagship station, WLIB-AM languished in the ratings, bordering on oblivion for months at an end.
