Training the Bush-hating generation
***see the update!***
A tipster sent me a page from the Los Angeles public school teachers union’s newspaper. You’ll be happy to know that Bush Derangement Syndrome is blossoming in government schools–and that union leaders are making sure to reward their little propaganda artists-in-training. Bush-is-bloodthirsty verse? Check.

Reader Nancy sniffs this one out!
The teacher really should know the subject matter a little better. This is a direct plagiarization of a poem, written in the 60s, by Chicano activist, Corky Gonzalez. It is entitled, “I am Joaquin.” It’s been around for a long time.
Not an exact plagiarization, but definitely served as inspiration, it seems.
