DNC changes vets’ page
An update to my blog post yesterday about the DNC’s tribute to American troops that featured a Canadian soldier. The foreign soldier has been replaced (hat tip – Mark):

At least it’s the right flag.
(Good thing the webmaster made sure this one didn’t slip through:)

Lorie Byrd weighs in:
It is embarrassing to post a picture of another country’s vets as your own, but I think the picture of all the Democrats is almost as strange. The people in the picture pumping their fists in the air look like they just won the lottery (or since they are Democrats, just got some tax cuts repealed), rather than voicing support for their troops and vets. Check out the guy in the bottom left corner. When is the last time you saw a Democrat look that excited about supporting our troops?
Does anyone at the DNC know what an American soldier looks like? They accuse the Republicans of hiding behind the flag all too often. This appears to be a much more blatant example than anything I’ve seen from the GOP.
