This is CNN

By Michelle Malkin  •  October 30, 2006 10:00 PM

I tuned in to CNN to watch conservative blogbabe Mary Katharine Ham debut on Larry King Live, but it’s been stuck on this for nearly half an hour:

Similar glitch on CNN Headline News, which has been stuck on this for the last 15-20 minutes:

Santorum’s opponent, Bob Casey, is going to demand equal freeze frame time with his face captioned with “VOTE AMERICAN.” Can’t get better free advertising than that.

It’s a Rovian conspiracy!

Reader e-mail of the day from Shane B.:

CNN broadcasts 30 minutes of meaningless static you say? How can you tell?

Touché!

Bryan Preston has an answer:

Well, tonight’s broadcast was less destructive than the average night on cnn. That’s how you can tell the difference.

Touché again.

Looks like the glitch may have been limited to the D.C. area. NYC was fine. So was the South. Reader Kevin reports:

I watched the whole Larry King show and it ran normally at the normal time (8-9CST). So they were watchable from Louisiana via DirecTV at least.

MKH and Laura Ingraham were both fantastic as usual.

But of course!
