Let me get this straight; a left-winger with a blog, a tape recorder, a vendetta, and not one ounce of honesty deliberately mischaracterizes the content of KSFO's programming as racist and bigoted in the hopes of destroying the station, and you're hot under the collar because a rant that had nothing to do with race wasn't politically correct enough for you. Gee, See, thanks for missing the forest for the trees.

You're so ticked about Lee Rodgers' "statist fantasy" that it clouded your judgment of the situation. You fail to concede Noel Sheppard's valid point that indeed "it is different" once the context that "Spocko" omitted is restored. It's not unexpected that Rodgers -- a curmudgeon who started in radio almost forty-five years ago and whose hard-edged commentary is legend in the Bay Area -- would say such a thing about an uncontrollable felon. To make it something worth losing sponsors over, the loser had to make Rodgers' quote sound more outrageous, so he injected race into the story and left out the previous 235 previous times in the clink. Voila! Rodgers is the radio version of Stephen Pagones.

And exactly who is 'associating' Lee Rodgers' words with you? Stop pondering, the answer is nobody. Get over yourself. I visit MichelleMalkin.com every day, but I don't agree with her about everything. Ditto my fave conservative pundits like Laura Ingraham, Rush Limbaugh, Lars Larson, Glenn Beck, Debra Saunders, Mark Levin, Brian Sussman, Melanie Morgan, and Rodgers. Much less Bill O'Reilly, Michael Savage, and Ann Coulter (don't get me started).

You've got to make up your mind about what's more important to you: Making sure that every conservative talkhost meets your purity test, or helping defeat people who are dedicated to the destruction of left-of-center broadcasting by any means necessary. The only one that's "not helping" is you, See-Dub.

The open-mindedness of the American Left

If you disagree with a radio station's point of view, just shut it down! Who needs free speech anyway? (hat tip: Little Green Footballs) UP

One thing for sure: Spocko is getting noticed! Michelle Malkin: "...they sent a letter to Spocko's ISP and got his audio clips of KSFO shows taken down. I don't know the extent of the Fair-Use issues there, and they may have been within their rights to...

Confusing Unfunny With The Unacceptable

Filling in for Michelle Malkin, See Dubya observes:Um, no. No, I most definitely wouldn't. I don't care if the guy had two thousand felonies, I don't want the state shooting people for property crimes. Battery cables on the testicles and
