By Michelle Malkin  •  February 19, 2007 09:12 PM

Here’s a grass-roots effort by and for active-duty members of the military to support the mission in Iraq.
The petition is a response to a left-wing astroturf group of anti-war vets.

The misuses of intelligence

By Michelle Malkin  •  February 19, 2007 06:27 PM

Michael Barone at RCP boils it down:

There’s a horrid development in the case of Abdul Kareem Nabeel Suleiman, the Egyptian blogger on trial for posting to his website statements calling for equal rights for women and protection of free speech, as well as other statements critical of the Egyptian government and Islam. The Free Kareem website reports:

“I genuinely believe the United States Army is a force of good in this world”

By Michelle Malkin  •  February 18, 2007 11:16 AM

The immortal words of 2LT Mark Daily live on. The Los Angeles Times has picked up the story: “Mark Daily wrote on MySpace that he joined the Army to help the suffering people of Iraq. In death, his words have become a call to service.”
A small sample:
In a 2005 videotape of his officers’ commissioning ceremony, [...]

By Michelle Malkin  •  February 17, 2007 03:41 PM

Last night on The O’Reilly Factor, one of the segments addressed winter airline delays. The producers booked Kate Hanni, a consumer activist leading the charge to get Congress to pass a “Passenger Bill of Rights.” I noted my skepticism about gimmicky legislation with the words “Bill of Rights” tacked onto the end of it…
…which caused [...]

The message from an interview with a Fallujah Military Transition Team (MiTT) leader is the same message Bryan Preston and I heard from our embed unit in western Baghdad and the same message President Bush and Gen. Petraeus continue to underscore: It’s going [...]
